摘要： 运用空间计量经济学模型,以高技术产业为例,对三种类型的知识溢出对中国省际区域创新产出的影响以及空间相关性问题进行了实证分析。结果发现,中国31个省际区域的创新活动存在空间依赖性,高技术产业的专业化、多样化,省际区域的人力资本对区域创新产出具有正向促进作用。区域创新活动的空间依赖性要求各省际区域在制定区域经济政策时要充分考虑知识溢出的地理特性,加强区域合作。

摘要： The disintegration of planned economies and the first elements of the market economy have resulted in a new attitude from some companies to transfer their activities to the informal economy. Assessing the probability that a company decides to conduct an economic activity can be done based on the application of the logit and probit econometric models. A series of data for different latent variables should be known for their implementation. This paper presents a number of problems related to the application of these models at the level of economic regions. Binary models are recommended because of a number of variables such as: the size of the informal economy at the level of a company, the size of unpaid taxes and duties due to their activities in the informal economy, which are not known in official statistics. These variables can be substituted to some extent by the latent variables for which data series are known. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]

摘要： 一些研究人员在进行计量经济分析的时候,直接把数理经济学里面的数学模型当作计量经济模型使用,并且把这类数学模型所设置的各种假定当作计量经济分析理所当然的前提。本文指出,数理经济模型和计量经济模型分别属于两门不同的学科,担负着不同的任务,不能把二者混为一谈。计量经济分析担负测算因果效应和预测两种不同的任务,在两种不同的任务下对计量经济模型的要求不同。因此强调指出,不论是测算因果效应还是预测,直接简单地把数理经济模型当作计量经济模型使用都是不妥当的。

摘要： An economic model provides a consistent logic for earning profits within a venture. In this research, a four-component framework is developed and tested for capturing the entrepreneur's economic model. The proposed framework argues for integrating these four elements in a logical and consistent manner. Certain combinations of these elements can lead to highly successful ventures while others should result in more marginal firms. To test the framework, a cross-sectional survey of independent retail establishments was undertaken. Using cluster analysis techniques, five dominant economic models were identified among these ventures. Evidence of performance differences, depending on the type of model, was produced. 摘要： Public conservation forestlands protect natural resources, provide wildlife habitat, and service a multi-billion dollar recreation industry. Invasive upland plants (IPs) threaten to dramatically reduce the flow of goods and services from these lands. In the late 1990s, a Florida (USA) state program began combating IPs on public conservation lands. By 2007, the program had controlled roughly 1/3 of the 1.5 million IP-infested acres, primarily due to a surge in expenditures that began in 2001 and peaked in 2005. This study evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the program by simulating the costs and benefits of IP control through 2016 under five feasible policy alternatives: (I) Do nothing, (II) Maintenance control, (III) 2001-2004 level (of program spending), (IV) 2005 level, and (V) Maximum net present value. To evaluate the policies, we construct a bio-economic model that is parameterized using observations of IP coverage and data from 11 state regions. Given the uncertain nature of IP spread, we simulate the policies' economic impacts under two plausible spread rates. Simulation results indicate that the program's recent efforts are highly effective generating up to $865.1 million in present value net benefits through 2016 - but less efficient than more costly, front-loaded spending that can generate up to 4.37 times more net benefits. 摘要： We develop a model of friendship formation that sheds light on segregation patterns observed in social and economic networks. Individuals have types and see type-dependent benefits from friendships. We examine the properties of a steady-state equilibrium of a matching process of friendship formation. We use the model to understand three empirical patterns of friendship formation: (i) larger groups tend to form more same-type ties and fewer other-type ties than small groups, (ii) larger groups form more ties per capita, and (iii) all groups are biased towards same-type relative to demographics, with the most extreme bias coming from middle-sized groups. We show how these empirical observations can be generated by biases in preferences and biases in meetings. We also illustrate some welfare implications of the model.

摘要： 在专业化经济模型的基础上,分析了专业化经济与资源禀赋理论的关系,建立了广东与香港两地的经济合作模型,并用具有资源禀赋的专业化经济模型分析了粤港经济合作的前景,提出了使粤港两地比较优势互补的效果达到最优的方案。得出了粤港两地利用新的互补比较优势,推动两地经济合作模式的升级,使两地经济资源达到最优配置的有效途径。
